First time coming here with my friend and two people he was showing around town. Small and intimate. Service wasn't the fastest. We ordered a few dishes to share. The eggplant dish Baingan Bharta and the Gobi Manchuria were my favorites. The food was served in disposable dishware, which was off putting and also kinda wasteful. I'd suggest to the restaurant to switch to proper plates!

Yum!!!!!!!! Everything is so flavorful! I appreciated the light spice on the dishes I ordered because I can't handle much spice. My favorite was the spinach dosa. The veggie curry was also so delicious with mild spice. Service is great and pretty quick. I was so happy to see all the vegan and gluten free options labeled!

I made a visit to VEGZ on Adams Morgan and ordered the Palak Paneer, Gobi Manchurian, and Naan. The Gobi Manchurian had great flavor and seasoning that I didn't even realize it was vegetarian. The palak paneer paired well with the basmati rice and naan and the meal filled me up. I do wish there was a little more flavor in the palak paneer but it was still solid. The service was also great as the workers made sure I had everything I needed.

Samosa chaat was probably one of the best dishes I've ever tried in my entire life. Dosas were good but nothing special -- I've had better. The samosa chaat, though, carried my entire order. Great location, not that much seating. Friendly staff and also they were very helpful and allowed my friend and I to split a rather complex bill. 100% recommend.

The food was incredible. Everything we ate was delicious! We got tadka dal ( They even made it Without onion and garlic for us) , we got puri bhaji, paneer tikka, baigan bharta and lassis! The food was amazing! The place is a hole in the wall and is small, so it can be a little tight but the delicious food made up for anything the place was lacking! The lady serving the food was polite and really sweet. Would definitely recommend

The food here is so good and brought me back to Gujarat. Masala Dosa 5/5 would order again. definitely eat it hot so the dosa is fresh and crisply. Paneer Makhani 5/5 amazing, it reminded me of a korma sauce and so good Navratna Korma 4/5 wish there were more vegetables and the portion size was smaller than paneer makhani

literally always wanted to try the extremely popular dosas from here after having some fabulous chaat (that came with many delicious chutneys!) - I saw photos of the dosas in the restaurant and they were HUGE burrito shaped meals, I suspected takeout would be wrapped in the same shape like a burrito but instead it was folded over. - the new shape of the dosa I believe prevented optimal filling ratio. there was way too much breading with only a few tablespoons of spinach filling - I loved the crunch on the top and bottom and the curried spinach was an amazing savory mild cut to the THREE (WOOOOOO) sauces. - super affordable wonderful prices

I am very biased with Indian food because I'm Punjabi and for me, my mom is the best cook. Not often do I come across Indian food where I'm genuinely shocked at how good it is and how it comes close to or is better than my mom's cooking. Vegz was definitely one of them. People working there were nice, had a smile on their face the whole time. The restaurant itself is no frills and honestly they don't even need to be fancy because of how good the food is. Their samosa chaat was the best I've had in the DMV area. I wish I got chole bhature because of how good the chole were in the samosa chaat. The Mysore masala dosa was also very good, but boy do they not mess around with spice! The sambar and the potato filing were super spicy which we loved! Thank god for the mango lassi though haha I honestly can't wait to go back and try more of their food!
